Food Handler; Serve It Safely is an IDPH-approved 3-hour University of Illinois Extension program designed to increase self-efficacy related to serving food safely in the non-restaurant environment. Designed for staff and volunteers working in food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, day care centers, schools and other facilities serving hot or cold food. Food Handlers must work under the supervision of a Certified Food Protection Manager.
