Saturday Engineering for Everyone: A tour of a future museum of driverless cars?
Time:10:00 AM - 11:15 AM
Website and/or Calendar Links
The quest to build driverless cars is the moonshot of this century. In this SEE presentation, we will take a tour of a future museum of science and technology showing breakthroughs that allowed people in the early 21st century to dream about the self-driving utopia. During the tour we will also catch glimpses of areas under heavy construction---ongoing research and open problems that have to be solved---for the driverless future to pan out.
Presented by ECE ILLINOIS Professor Sayan Mitra.
Saturday Engineering for Everyone events are FREE and open to the public. No engineering experience is necessary.
