Each year during National Volunteer Week, Office of Volunteer Programs organizes service projects to be conducted throughout the community in which student organizations will provide volunteer services.

During National Volunteer Week, OVP also recognizes students and agencies throughout the community that have done outstanding service work.

OVP also provides community service workshops, connects with community agencies and partners with students group in order to provide volunteer options for personal and professional growth. For many, volunteering with the OVP leads to the discovery of a career they will pursue when they graduate. The success of OVP is due to those who donate their time willingly to help others. It is this passion of bettering the lives of others that continues to make the program thrive.
