The Family Resiliency Center is dedicated to advancing knowledge and practices that strengthen families’ abilities to meet life’s challenges and thrive. The Center accomplishes this through research, outreach, and education centered around four themes:
- Child and Family Health and Wellbeing
- Child Care as a Resource
- Immigrant Families and their Children.
- Positive Child and Youth Development
The Family Resiliency Center was established in 2006. It is an academic unit of the University of Illinois College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences within the Department of Human and Community Development.
