Are you interested in learning the secretes to aging well?  Attend the free program on that topic, hosted by the Rock Island County Association for Home and Community Education on Friday, February 10 at 10 a.m.  at two of our offices - the University of Illinois Extension, 321 2nd Ave. West in Milan, Ill and at 358 Front Street in Galva, Ill.  Titled “I’m Positive, I’m Aging” it will try to answer the question: What are the secrets to successful aging? Believe it or not, it has nothing to do with your income, being free from illness or a life free from disappointments. Living a healthy lifestyle, but also maintaining a positive attitude and friendships are just a few ways to age well.  The program will be presented as a live webinar led by a University of Illinois Extension family life educator, giving the audience the opportunity to ask questions related to the topic and to take home program resources.  This workshop is provided free of charge, but advance registration is suggested. To register, call U of I Extension in Rock Island County, 309-756-9978 or in Henry County 309-932-3447. If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in this program, please call the same numbers.
