Description:

Human Rights serves as an introduction to the law, theories, and practice of international human rights, together with the instruments, organizations and arrangements that affect their implementation and enforcement. We will consider some of the most salient, and often controversial, contemporary human rights challenges we face today, here in the U.S. and abroad. The course includes discussions with University faculty and expert practitioners, combining a historical overview of international human rights agreements and contemporary case studies.

This course, new for 2017, is currently being developed so additional information will be available soon.

Contact the Center for Global Studies for more information.
