Imagination U is a 6-day residential program (July 10-16, 2016) for students who define themselves as imaginative and creative. These students have an innate curiosity and desire to question the world around them, creating new solutions, products, ideas and services in the process.

The camp will teach students how to use their natural creativity as a marketable skill in self-branding and the business world. They will explore many “creative” outlets, learning how each craft can be tied back into usable business skills.

On-campus and in Champaign-Urbana, students will learn from faculty and local professionals about the concept of creativity, participate in play sessions, develop ideas, and learn how to sell them. Imagination U goes one step further by teaching students how to advertise a final product and pitch their ideas to parents, faculty and staff at the conclusion of the camp.

Imagination U accepts rising high school sophomores through seniors and college freshmen if space allows.
